Why PocketPing?

Completely private

Your inbox is yours alone. No social features, no public profiles, no data sharing.

Instant access

Open PocketPing on any device and everything is right there — no syncing, no waiting.

Works everywhere

Install as a PWA on your phone or use it in any browser. iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows, Linux.

No distractions

No feed, no notifications, no engagement tricks. Just your stuff, when you need it.

Built for real problems

The situations where nothing else quite works.

Send files from iPhone to Windows

AirDrop doesn't work between Apple and Windows. PocketPing does — upload on your iPhone, open on your PC. Done in seconds, no cable needed.

Cross-platform clipboard

Copy something on your phone, paste it on your desktop. PocketPing is the universal clipboard that works across every OS without any setup.

Share links from phone to computer

Found something on your phone and want to open it on your computer? Send it to PocketPing and it's waiting for you when you sit down.

Transfer files without a USB cable

Drop a file into PocketPing on any device and it's instantly accessible on all your others. No cable, no Bluetooth pairing, no account sharing.

Why not just use…

Every workaround has a catch. PocketPing doesn't.

Email yourself

  • Clutters your inbox
  • Slow to find later
  • No file preview
  • PocketPing just works

WhatsApp yourself

  • Tied to a phone number
  • Android ↔ iOS friction
  • Distracting notifications
  • PocketPing just works

AirDrop

  • Apple devices only
  • Requires proximity
  • No Windows or Android
  • PocketPing just works

USB cable

  • Need the right cable
  • Manual file management
  • Not always to hand
  • PocketPing just works

PocketPing is not a cloud storage service

It's built for quick, in-transit sharing — the moment between you sending something on one device and picking it up on another. Think of it like a private clipboard, not a photo library or file drive.

  • Not a replacement for iCloud, Google Drive, or Dropbox
  • Not for bulk photo uploads or long-term file archiving
  • Files auto-delete after 24 hours to keep things tidy (pin a file to keep it)
  • Accounts start with 100 MB — enough for what you need in transit

Stop WhatsApping yourself.

PocketPing is the clean, private alternative.

FAQ

Is PocketPing free?

During private beta, PocketPing is completely free. We'll announce pricing before any changes.

Who can see my messages?

Only you. Messages are private by design. No social features, no public profiles.

What devices does it work on?

PocketPing is a PWA. It works in any browser and can be installed to your home screen on iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows and Linux.

Is this an AirDrop alternative?

Yes — PocketPing works across all platforms, not just Apple. It's ideal for transferring files between iPhone and Windows, Mac and Android, or any other cross-platform combination.

Is there an app to download?

No download needed. PocketPing is a Progressive Web App (PWA) — install it directly from your browser in seconds on any device.

How long are files kept?

Files auto-delete after 24 hours. If you need to keep something, pin it — pinned files are exempt from the auto-delete. Text notes and links are kept indefinitely.

How much storage do I get?

Each account starts with 100 MB. Because files expire after 24 hours, you rarely come close to the limit unless you upload a lot at once.

Does it work offline?

Basic features work offline. To send or receive new items you need an internet connection.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Delete any message at any time, or contact us to remove your account entirely.
